Hornets pre-season games.
While you have been enjoying the summer sunshine the Hornets squads have been doing pre-season training since June and are finishing that off with some exciting matches before the first league matches start on 7th September.
Hornets 1st XV are looking forward to their 3rd season at level 4 National League in what will be another tough campaign with more new fixtures to look forward to.
Jon Richardson and his coaching team lead by Head coach Jack Gadd have been putting the 4 senior men’s teams through the programme and are fine tuning over the next 4 weeks with some games .
First up is this Saturday (10th) when Winscombe RFC visit the Nest.
A joint training game followed by a match all starts at 2pm come down and see how the boys are progressing with some unfamiliar faces on show and the usual suspects .
Also on Saturday the Ladies team travel to Hucclecote RFC for their first game.
Next up Friday 16th Hornets 3rds travel to Yatton to play from 7pm.
Saturday 17th Hornets travel to Chew Valley for an exciting match up from 2pm.
Thursday 22nd Hornets squad welcome Weston RFC to the Nest from 7pm
Saturday 24th Hornets 4ths welcome Yatton 2nds from 2pm.
Friday 30th Hornets Ladies host Chew Valley at the Nest from 7 pm.
The final run out is Saturday 31st August when Barnstaple will visit the Nest for what will be a very entertaining game all starts from 2pm.
