Hornets RFC are thrilled to announce that Brett Harvey will join them as the new forwards coach for the upcoming season. Harvey had an impressive 12-season career at Taunton Titans, during which time he made 158 appearances and scored 19 tries.

He made 22 appearances for Somerset and was co-captain when the County beat Staffordshire 36-20 in the RFU’s Bill Beaumont Division 2 County Championship final in June 2022 at Twickenham.
Harvey has a wealth of coaching experience, including his recent role with Taunton Warriors, Bristol Bears Academy, and as Head of Rugby at Bridgwater and Taunton College — Brett is set to make a significant impact on our team.
The existing coaching staff and players are eager to welcome Harvey on board as the 1stXV begin preparations for their fourth season in National League 2 West and the three other senior sides in the Somerset leagues.
Hornets Director of Rugby, Jon Richardson, spoke highly of Brett, stating, “He is an exciting addition to our team. His insights into the game are current and relevant, and he shares in our philosophy here at the club.
“We can't wait to work with him to improve our already talented players and continue to enhance their rugby development.”
Let’s warmly welcome Brett as we embark on this exciting new journey together!
